It is located in the municipality of Corciano (included among the most beautiful villages in Italy) just 7 km from the city of Perugia and in a strategic position to visit our region's other precious places.

Our Services
Our private pool is surrounded by greenery and silence. You can use it all the time you want or you can relax on our sunbeds and deckchairs in the adjacent garden. Min height: 1.20 meters Max height: 1.40 meters
In our dependance we serve delicious homemade breakfasts: we produce jams, bread and cakes prepared day by day by expert and loving hands. You can choose also a continental breakfast, with first quality cheese, cold cuts and eggs.
Wide parkings at your disposal.
The Agritourism is the ideal place for children, thanks to the wide and open spaces where they can run and have fun. Near the pool there is a playground with a slide and swings!
Our homemade jams have the taste of freshly picked fruit. In addition to the traditional ones you can try original flavours and combinations.
You can use our mobile barbecue to prepare delicious meals in the garden right in front of your apartment.
In front of the farmhouse there is a field of 8 hectares with a 1km and a half ring trail where you can go for walks or jogging.
Immersed in nature, our dependance offers a scenario of privacy and tranquility to rent for celebrations and parties: birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, baptisms, communions, confirmations, business lunches and dinners or a dinner with friends.
Babysitting and/or dogsitting service on request, 4-legged friends are always welcome!
Our countryhouse becomes a place for our guests to be together, chat in front of the fireplace in winter, taste our delicious jams or play a ping pong match.
Bikes for different ages are free at you disposal.
The Cedri lake, inside our estate, is a place that enchants the fisherman. It is managed by a group of friends who share a passion for fishing, their philosophy is respect for nature. Here you can practice only catch and release, the fish is immediately released after the caught. They organize guided tours, even for children and families to learn about the fish fauna and its natural habitat. It is possible to have lessons in which the main fishing techniques are taught.

The surrounding nature
If you are passionate about nature you can enjoy tranquility and relaxation, thanks to the greenery that surrounds our Agritourism. All around the farm there are fields and woods where you can take pleasant walks and Mount Tezio and Monte Malbe, a few kilometers away, offer many trails for long hikes.

There is a riding school 5 minutes distant that offers horseback rides. There are also 4 golf courses in the surroundings (Antognolla, Santa Sabina, Lamborghini Golf Club, Città di Castello). For food and wine lovers, numerous local wineries (Carini, Monte Vibiano Vecchio, Pomario) offer visits and tasting of wines and local products.
On the top of Mount Subasio (30 km distant from il Corniolo) it is possible to paraglide. It is also possible to go rafting with paths suitable for children. If you are a bicycle enthusiast you can rent them for the period of your stay, while if you are a Vespa Piaggio enthusiast, you can rent them for a ride around Lake Trasimeno.
Wandering around Umbria
The Agritourism is just 10 minutes drive from Perugia and only 5 minutes from Corciano, one of Italy's most beautiful villages.
All the major cities and towns of Umbria (Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Spello, Orvieto...), the Trasimeno Lake, the Marmore Waterfall as well as the nearby Tuscany are within easy reach.
At the entrance of the Agritourism there is a bus stop that leads to Perugia city centre every hour from Monday to Saturday. Despite this, arriving by car is preferable for absolute freedom of movement.

From the center of Perugia and from the Central Station there are many trains or buses to reach the most important towns of Umbria. It is also possible to book a taxi or rent a car.
Our History
Agriturismo Il Corniolo was founded in 2003 after a careful and meticulous renovation. The original structure dates back to 1850 and belonged to a farmers family. The ground floor was dedicated for animals' stalls, the farmer's house was at the first floor with a separate barn. Thanks to a family legacy we have inherited this charming place.

Our family has an agricultural tradition too: we are very tied to the land and its roots, a bond demonstrated by the family atmosphere that you will breath. The farmhouse is divided into 7 delicious apartments, we subsequently built the dependance, where we placed our laboratory for the production of jams and where we organize events and workshops.
​
In addition to jams, our farm produces cereals, oil seeds and nuts. Our philosophy of life is inextricably linked with nature, woods and wide spaces, with clean air, silence and with the background of the countryside's sounds, like bird songs and the buzz of the bees.
