About us...
Just back home. Despite the cleanup and laundry and the faint sun in our own country, we preferred to sit in the garden in search of that wonderful feeling of the past two weeks. Musing away looking at the photos and actually still wanting to be there. On Uva apartment 's own terrace or in one of the quiet spots in the shade of the trees. There is so much beauty to see in the area. And all that from a wonderful base. A very well-maintained domain and delightful apartments. Small and cozy. A friendly smile from Franca and an enthusiastic explanation from Flavia :) We really felt at home. Sleep with the windows open and the sound of nature in the background. And in the next mornings I know we'll be talking about Franca's delicious breakfast. Thanks ladies!

Beautiful accommodation, a stone’s throw from Perugia. Simply amazing! We had a wonderful stay in ‘The Acorn’ at Agriturismo il Corniolo. Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) had plenty of space and a beautiful balcony for our morning coffee (with freshly baked organic bread and homemade jams) and evening meals. Franca, Flavia, and their team worked tirelessly to keep the well equipped apartments and the surrounding grounds spotless. We particularly enjoyed spending our afternoons by the large, clean pool. The setting was gorgeous and it was hard to believe we were just a stone’s throw from lovely Perugia. The Agriturismo felt beautifully rural but we could be in the heart of the city within a few minutes (for Umbria Jazz Festival)….We will definitely return!

We spent two months in Franca's place to celebrate our honeymoon. It was fantastic for many reasons: - host's hospitality and eagerness to help in any situation (from travelling advice to assistance with setting a doctor's appointment) - amazing sights and clean air accompanied with the visits of the hosts' friendly dog Mora - weekly delivery of bio vegetables, fruit and bread as well as some local delicacies (jam, biscuits) - location perfect for visiting numerous places around: Perugia, Firenze, Roma, Siena, Orvieto, Assisi, Spello, Norcia, Val d'Orcia and many others The bottom line is we relaxed a lot and spent a great time in Italy. I would recommend the place to anybody :)
